Searching for True Type Fonts via Google

Using the “Google Hack” filetype:, it is easy to find TTF (True Type Fonts) on the net.

Say your looking for that Zebra font, always a classic with the younger folk. Well Google’s filetype feature allows you to rummage the web for it. All you have to do is type the following into the Google search input:
filetype:ttf zebra
And wow, look at that… it found a couple versions of them. Cyklohexan . Now onto acquiring them. Some browsers are smart enough to know that these files should be downloaded and not displayed in the window, so clicking on them should work. Some browsers are not so clever, so right clicking (control + click for mac users) on them and downloading them (“save to disk”) should do the trick.
